Description
A letter between Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel) and John MacKay Shaw. The first image contains Geisel's congratulations to Shaw on his collection of 15,000 volumes. He also admits to not desiring to not know why or how he writes. The second image is the Cat in the Hat drawn for Shaw, with text indicating an imaginary toast to him. The images indicate a strong friendship between Shaw and Geisel.
